1) Stations Activity
- a) Computer Station: How has Ocean Exploration changed over time
- b) Book Research Station 1: Concept map with 5-7 reasons why Dead Sea is so called using the book “The Dead Sea”
- c) Book Research Station 2: “Ocean” from Eye Wonder series. T-Chart of Types of Ocean Organisms plus the addition of 2 - 3 “Fishy Facts”
- d) Book Research Station 3: Using the book: “Penguins” students will build a flow map using the role of a penguin as a parent from when the parent builds a nest to the point when the offspring is independent.
- e) Book Research Station 4: Using the book: “Fish: What’s the Difference” students will write a short story that takes into account the differences in the lives of various fish.
- f) Book Research Station 5: Using the book: “Ocenas and Seas” students will build an acrostic summary.
